Embark on a thrilling adventure in the Bottleneck Bridge Ride, proudly brought to you by Trailnet, Festus Tourism Commission, City of Festus, and the Jefferson County Growth Association. Affectionately known as "One Hill of a Ride," this event promises a memorable and scenic journey through the heart of Jefferson County.
With route options ranging from 13 to 67 miles, cyclists of all levels can explore the charming town centers and tranquil country roads that define the region. Along the way, discover rest stops at local wineries, restaurants, and historical landmarks like the Sandy Creek Covered Bridge.
For our younger riders, we are excited to announce the return of the kids' Strider races, thanks to Living Life on 2 Wheels. This event is always a hit and adds extra fun to the day. Registration is free, and every child who participates will receive a prize.
After the ride, stay and enjoy live music, delicious pizza, a vendor expo, raffles, and unique shopping along historic Festus Main Street.

New for 2024!
We have partnered with the Twin City Area Optimist Club to bring you the first-ever Bottleneck Bridge Kids Helmet Fitting and Bike Safety Rodeo!
A bike rodeo is a chance for kids ages 3-12 to hone their bike riding skills in a controlled, instructor-led environment. After a helmet fitting, registrants will visit various stations to learn about bike safety, rules of the road, coordination skills, and basic bike mechanics. Every child will receive a free bike helmet courtesy of Helmet's First and the Twin City Area Optimist Club.
